Hello Baby

A Mini Newborn Session Experience

Your session fee covers the complete newborn photography experience from start to finish, allowing you to relax knowing every detail has been thoughtfully planned and handled with care.

For those soft, sleepy newborn images, sessions are scheduled when baby is 5–14 days old, when newborns are naturally more settled and spend much of their time sleeping.

Booking your newborn session is recommended once you enter your second trimester. However, we understand that life happens, so please feel free to reach out whenever you are ready, and we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.

Sessions take place at my Rock Hill studio and last approximately 1–1.5 hours. This experience is designed for baby only and features fully wrapped (swaddled) images in every setup. Baby will remain completely swaddled for the entire session, allowing for a calm, cozy experience and beautifully consistent images.

The session includes three thoughtfully styled setups, all using wraps and studio props. No outfits or unwrapped poses are included in this session—this package is intentionally designed to focus exclusively on wrapped newborn imagery.

The Signature Newborn

Your session fee includes a complete newborn photography experience designed to capture timeless, heartfelt images of your baby and family. From thoughtful preparation to expert posing and careful editing, every detail is handled with care so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience.

For those soft, sleepy newborn images, sessions are scheduled when baby is 5–14 days old, a time when newborns are naturally more settled and spend much of their time sleeping.

Sessions typically last 2–3 hours and take place in my Rock Hill studio, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and posing baby comfortably.

Booking your newborn session is recommended once you enter your second trimester to ensure availability. However, if your baby has already arrived, please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate based on availability.

From Hello to One

Documenting the First Year

The From Hello to One package is designed to beautifully document your baby’s first year, capturing three meaningful milestones from newborn to first birthday. This bundled experience allows you to relax knowing each session is thoughtfully planned and cohesively styled.

Package Details:

This package includes three sessions throughout baby’s first year:

Newborn session
Sitter session (6–9 months)
First birthday session

The newborn session lasts approximately 2–3 hours, allowing ample time for feeding, soothing, and posing.

The sitter and first birthday sessions last approximately 45 minutes each.

The first birthday session includes a bath experience, either a flower milk bath or a bubble bath.

Parents are responsible for providing the smash cake for the first birthday session.

Each session includes 10 high-resolution, fully edited digital images for download.

Additional images are available for purchase at $50 per digital image.
Image bundles of 10 or full gallery options are available at a discounted rate.

Milestone Sessions

Documenting the Milestones

Throughout baby’s first year, there are several meaningful milestones worth documenting.

Milestone sessions are typically scheduled around 6–9 months, when baby is sitting independently, discovering their toes, and responding with big smiles to familiar faces, songs, and toys.

Another important milestone is the first birthday—a joyful celebration of baby’s very first year.

This package allows you to capture either sitter milestone or first birthday independently, without booking the Hello to One package.

Session Details:

Sessions take place at my Rock Hill studio and last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
For sitter sessions, baby must be able to sit independently without assistance from an adult or chair.
For first birthday sessions, parents are responsible for providing the smash cake.
A custom balloon arch can be created for the session in your choice colors.
A bubble bath or flower milk bath may be included in either a sitter or first birthday session.
Sitter and first birthday milestone sessions are baby-only sessions and do not include parents or siblings.
Additional images are available for purchase at $50 per digital image.
Image bundles of 10 or full gallery options are available at a discounted rate.

FAQ

I am expecting, when should I book my newborn photo session?

Newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy, typically in the second or third trimester, to ensure availability. To capture those soft, sleepy newborn images, sessions are scheduled when baby is 5–14 days old, a time when newborns are naturally more settled and spend much of their time sleeping.

When you reach out during your pregnancy, we’ll discuss your due date and the type of session you’re interested in. Your due date will be placed on my calendar at the time of booking, and once your baby arrives, we will finalize the exact session date and time.

Where will the session take place and how long will it last?

Newborn sessions take place in my Rock Hill, SC studio. Hello Baby is a mini session and last 1-1.5 hours, and the Signature Newborn session typically last 2–3 hours.

How long will it take to receive the final images?

You can expect to receive one or two teaser images within 24 hours of your session. These previews will be low-resolution and watermarked.

Your soft proof gallery will be ready one week after your session, at which time you can select your final images. Your final, fully edited images will then be delivered to you three weeks after your newborn session via digital download.
